WHAT IS PASSIVE STRETCHING?

PASSIVE STRETCHING IS THE LENGTHENING AND STRETCHING OF MUSCLES WHILST THE TARGET MUSCLE IS IN A RELAXED STATE. THIS IS PERFORMED IN ORDER TO INCREASE MUSCLE LENGTH & FLEXIBILITY. THIS IS ACHIEVED BY THE APPLICATION OF CONTROLLED FORCE BY THE SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THE OPTIMUM STRETCH. 

 

THIS SERVICE IS IDEAL FOR SOMEONE LOOKING TO INCREASE OR MAINTAIN FELXIBILITY, WHETHER INVOLVED WITH SPORTS, EXERCISE OR IN A DESK JOB WHERE MOVEMENT IS LIMITED, ANYONE CAN GAIN THE BENEFITS OF PASSIVE STRETCHING.
